Okana SENSE™
Digital Archive Search
Provide
Unified access to and viewing of historic archive document collections
with Okana SENSE™ Archive Search regardless of type and format in a
clean and latest generation Web Interface.
Okana SENSE Archive Search is a version of Okana SENSE Enterprise Search,
offering all of the same features but with two important additional
modules to deal with the specific challenges encountered when unifying
archive data collections, including OCR, from multiple heterogeneous
sources:
- SENSE Connector –
Extends Autonomy’s Connector suite to providing extensible XML
transformation allowing both recent and historic OCR archive formats to
be mapped to a normalised super data schema.
- SENSE Unified Document Viewer –
An extensible version of the SENSE Document Viewer (powered by IDOL
Keyview) allowing for the visualisation of results of any popular
document format. Where image-based OCR collections are used, SENSE's
own OCR viewer provides a "reading mode" view of multiple images,
including term highlighting where this data is available in the OCR
transcription. The SENSE Framework provides a means for each collection
to use a specialist viewer plug-in DLL if required.
